IT'S WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY!


The vibrant young leaders from Nakuru County will always have something positive to share in this world. Tomorrow is World Environmental Day and tell you what? We are all psyched up if not energized to make this world a better place. With events ranging from Tree Planting, mentor-ship and networking, the YALI Nakuru ALUMNI will be stationed in different parts of the county doing justice to the ailing world. Does Climate Change startle you? Do you feel we need to do something as the human race to make this home a better place? Check out these posters and purpose to attend one of the events.
The Kenya National Library Services Nakuru spearheaded by the ICT Officer and YALI Alumus will be in partnership with a number of organizations to plant trees in three schools around Njoro town.Check the poster above.
Bathsheba Osiemo (YALI alumnus) will be leading Kuresoi Sub-County citizens in the initiative to plant a million trees within the month of June. See the details in the poster above.

 Leana Mwangi, the CEO of Inuka Njoro Youth Group and a YALI Alumnus will take it on at Egerton Primary School where pupils will be part of this exercise. This will happen on Thursday, 6th of June 2019.
Other Alumni organizing mentorship events are Catherine Lagat who's taking students to Nyahururu for an orpahanage visit and Julia who will be leading other youths on matters climate change in Gilgil.
