CEP Nakuru is getting bigger and better. What is interesting if not inspirational is to see young people who have mastered the art of giving themselves to serve and educate their community on matters development. Isn't it a wonder that while the society brands the youth as careless, unruly and ill mannered, we have another crop that forgets the religious, ethnic, academic and whatever other differences and unites on a better course? For sure, even though, there are things that aren't common in us, we reckon that it is more profiting to come together on that one factor that makes us all home.

Mandela Washington Fellowship(MWF) Interviews just ended for the Rift Valley Region! I bet by now you know why we are excited about this. The point is, by end of August, we are sure of getting new YALI alumni (or the current RLC adding a badge to their alumni name) as that is the time that the fellows will be through with the program in the US. We are grateful to the US Embassy for the availing the American Space at knls where we can hold our events.
Do you know how to write a winning grant proposal? This was the prime question in Yesterdays workshop facilitated by Joseck (Coh25), Frank (coh29) and moderated by Muna (coh31). Writing a proposal is sometimes demanding and no matter how good your communication skills are, if not tailored to the organization in question, it can never go through. Having gone through trainings and some being wwinners, the facilittators took the opportunity to share their knowledge with youths within Nakuru. If you are interested in getting the presentation send us a message at the Talk to us section and we'll be sure to send it as soon as possible.
